Summer internships in Japanese Companies

For students with outstanding potential currently studying Japanese at Harvard. Preference is normally given to students who have studied two years of Japanese language at Harvard and who plan to continue their study of Japanese upon returning from the internship. Internships are for two or three months and students are paid stipends by the sponsoring companies to cover living expenses in Japan. The deadline for applying is in mid-December of each academic year. Monbusho Research Student Scholarship

This is designed for researchers to study at Japanese universities without earning degrees. Applicants should have knowledge of the Japanese language , must be US citizens, and must be living in New England at the time of application.
